President Elect Barack Obama and Michelle Obama Visit the White House Today

Published by mcnally1 at 12:28 pm under Politics, President Barack Obama, news Edit This

Okay, so as we all know President Elect Obama and his wife, soon to be first lady Michelle Obama will be visiting the White House and meeting with President George W. Bush and his wife, first lady Laura Bush. What can you say to someone who you do not like very much? I mean George W. Bush is a Republican president who has had his own party distance themselves from him in order to save themselves politically. He even was basically told not to attend the Republican National Convention, even though he is for all rights and purposes, kind of the leader of the Republican party or was. I mean now, he will be going back to Crawford after President Elect Obama is inaugurated. I heard them say on television that during inauguration day, they have a huge staff of ushers remove all of the first family’s personal effects and can unpack the new first family’s stuff in less than four hours. I can’t even move my stuff to my new apartment in five days. That is some staff that they have. What do you think will be said between George “Dubya” Bush and President Elect Barack Obama today when they see each other?
