President Elect Obama will not be able to use Blackberry anymore

Published by mcnally1 at 4:17 pm under Politics, President Barack Obama, news Edit This

President Elect Barack Obama will have to turn off his Blackberry. I feel bad for him. I mean we live in such a tech savvy country. I could not live without my laptop or cell phone. Apparently, the president has to have records of all his incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails. This means that he cannot have personal devices that would not record what he says and emails to people and what they email or say to him. I can see their point, I mean Barack Obama is going to be the most powerful man in the United States of America so there needs to be security involving his personal correspondence and emails. I would have a hard time adjusting to not being able to use my own Blackberry, even though I only have a regular cell phone and laptop. Do you think that when you get elected to the office of the presidency that you should have to turn over your Blackberry? If so why do you feel this way?

I understand why they are doing this, but personally i dont know what i would do without my BB.

If I was in his position, I would ask the CIA, FBI or one of those offices to grab my BB and customize it so that it meets the requirements.
