Joe Lieberman Likely to Keep His Committe Chair Job
Joe Lieberman who famously attended the Republican National Convention and is not a republican, he is a democrat. Joe Lieberman also slammed his party by attending but had endorsed John McCain for president over fellow democratic senator Barack Obama weeks before the convention. Joe Lieberman is a senator from the state of Connecticut. He chairs the Senate Homeland Security Committee. Many democrats wanted Joe Lieberman to lose his coveted seat to teach him a lesson about being loyal to the democratic party but it looks like the senator will not lose his seat after all. He will likely lose his subcommittee job on the Environment and Public Works Committee. Joe Lieberman was re-elected in 2006 as an independent but is a registered democrat. He ran for president with Al Gore but is making no friends in the democratic party that is for sure. What do you think about Seantor Lieberman should he keep his seat or not?
