Grand Jury Indicts Cheney

Published by mcnally1 at 9:25 am under Politics, news Edit This

Someone is in big trouble and his name is Vice President Dick Cheney. A Texas grand jury has indicted Dick Cheney and former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales on separate charges based on allegations of abuse in federal detention centers. It looks like these two are in a little bit of hot water. Cheney is going to be much less powerful in the political world because Joe Biden is our new vice president but I am on the fence about if he will actually do any real jail time. I mean rarely do we ever see vice presidents do jail time. I mean the case might go to trial. I am very skeptical about this. I think that there needs to be a full and thorough investigation done to explore any other charges that may need to be filed against anyone in the administration that might have committed a crime. What do you all think of this story? Do you think anything will actually happen or will these two men get off and not go to jail?
