President Elect Obama’s Cabinet Choice for Commerce Secretary

Published by mcnally1 at 11:24 am under Politics, President Barack Obama, news Edit This

According to news reports, New Mexico governor Bill Richardson will be President Elect Barack Obama’s commerce secretary. I am happy that Bill Richardson has a cabinet position. I am just curious as to why he is not the secretary of state considering the fact that he has been very loyal to the President Elect. I mean when he dropped out of the presidential race he endorsed President Elect Barack Obama for president. He became a huge ally. He campaigned for him. He has done many interviews on different cable news channels trying to represent him in a positive way. I mean it is like having your best friend pick the cheerleader over you. I like Hillary Clinton but if I were Bill Richardson I would be pretty upset that someone I campaigned for and was very loyal to picked Hillary Clinton over me. I do think Bill Richardson will be a great commerce secretary. He really seems dedicated to public service and helping the people of this country. What do you think about this story?
