Bailout Flopped Again

Published by mcnally1 at 12:51 pm under Politics, news Edit This

I read this and thought, are they joking? It is a reality though. The bailout of the automobile industry did not get passed. Now the White House might step in to lend a hand. Now, I am not a politician but George W. Bush is very unpopular and has no real pull in the Republican party. None of the republicans want to even be in the same room with him so how could he muster up votes to make it pass? They need eight more votes the bailout deal failed 52-35. General Motors is very close to bankruptcy. This is a very serious issue that needs to be addressed. Many experts have said that if General Motors goes bankrupt then no one will be inclined to buy their automobiles anymore. This is because people are weary of buying cars from a bankrupt company. I think that there needs to be some negotiations done soon because Christmas is in thirteen days.Employees of the big three automobile makers want to know that there will be some stability and assistance soon. Hopefully, a new bailout package can be agreed upon in the near future.
