President Elect Obama Increases His Goal for New Jobs

Published by mcnally1 at 2:37 pm under Politics, President Barack Obama, news Edit This

President Elect Barack Obama has increased his goal for new jobs to three million jobs. I have to say he shoots for the stars. He adjusted his goal for new jobs because the economy is worse than everyone had thought. My question is, how are we going to have enough jobs when the soldiers come home from Iraq? I mean we all want the war to come to a close so that the troops can come home but the unemployment rate is high and will increase because the troops will need jobs when they all come home.  President Elect Obama had first set a goal of 2.5 million new jobs in the next two years. I think that it is important to focus on job creation in the United States of America. We need to lower the unemployment rate. We need to start making more American products, if there is enough demand for American made products then they will not be as expensive as some of the products currently are. We need to make more products in the United States, it will boost our economy and get people back to work.
