President George W. Bush is going to give his farewell address on Thursday. Now, refresh my memory didn’t he do this yesterday at his last news conference that contained absolutely no news at all? The major networks actually are going to cover this farewell address. What will he have to say that we have not heard? President Bush is trying so hard to preserve his legacy. It is too bad he did not work this hard to actually fix the economy, end the war, or help the country’s homeowners who are facing foreclosure. Why does he keep saying good bye? It is like when singers such as Barbra Streisand and Cher keep having their farewell tours. Now, on Thursday, we are going to have to again say good bye to our forty third president. Hopefully, Dick Cheney will not get any ideas and have a farewell press conference on Friday. Are any of you going to watch the farewell address on Thursday?
