Obama Inspiring Millions Of People

Published by mcnally1 at 3:14 pm under Politics, President Barack Obama, news Edit This

President Elect Barack Obama is inspiring millions of people across the globe. Every day, I read articles about how Obama has inspired people. He just has something about him that makes people think anything is possible. His ground game was quite impressive.Thousands of people took time out of their busy lives to campaign for hm. He was able to raise millions of dollars from donors. He captured the attention of many people. He can give a great speech and speaks passionately about issues and hope. As inauguration day nears, I would like everyone to  leave me a comment as to why they think Barack Obama inspires people. Then,I will compile a blog posting about it next week.

The average donation for Obama was under 25 dollars - considering how much money that man took in, that’s just incredible. It truly was a grassroots movement that got him where he is today - something many people in politics thought wasn’t possible anymore.

Obama inspires me a lot and I didn’t even vote for him (libertarian - it’s where the party is at). He’s very cool, calm and collected - someone who thinks carefully about what they say before they say it.

Do I feel positive about the future because of Obama? No, we’re facing a lot of challenges internally and abroad that would test the mettle of many capable politicians. Still that being said, the fact that Obama as a politician is proposing something that virtually goes against every libertarian bone in my body - and I still feel assured that he can make it work - says a lot about him to me too.

I have no confidence in Obama’s leadership (and he’s not even taken office yet!), but I can say that he is one of the most charismatic orators of his generation. He’s also an intelligent, educated, thoughtful person, all worthy traits in any individual. It’s hard not to like someone who’s so obviously personable.
