Personally, if you study Blagojevich's past, you will see that as a child he had to help his parents pay their bills by being a shoe shine boy. then he was a pizza delivery boy and when he was in college he was a dishwasher.
It is definitely incorrect to remove him from office before his criminal trial.
I persoanlly believe that he's a street fighter with a bad mouth and a shitty haircut. But those are not impeachable offenses.
Is he telling the truth? yes. He's a shrewd politician, non different from others. After Obama got into the US Senat, his wife's salary went up from 199K to 300K. How is that not the same payoff?
The legislators want him out of the way because he was doing too much for the people.
I personally would vote for him for President.

Finally, science wins over ideology! Every day without Bush in office things get a little bit better.

I have no confidence in Obama's leadership (and he's not even taken office yet!), but I can say that he is one of the most charismatic orators of his generation. He's also an intelligent, educated, thoughtful person, all worthy traits in any individual. It's hard not to like someone who's so obviously personable.

The average donation for Obama was under 25 dollars - considering how much money that man took in, that's just incredible. It truly was a grassroots movement that got him where he is today - something many people in politics thought wasn't possible anymore.

Obama inspires me a lot and I didn't even vote for him (libertarian - it's where the party is at). He's very cool, calm and collected - someone who thinks carefully about what they say before they say it.

Do I feel positive about the future because of Obama? No, we're facing a lot of challenges internally and abroad that would test the mettle of many capable politicians. Still that being said, the fact that Obama as a politician is proposing something that virtually goes against every libertarian bone in my body - and I still feel assured that he can make it work - says a lot about him to me too.

I think she gave the dems more clout in the senate than she will at secretary of state, but... we'll see I suppose.

To be fair some dems did play their role. Almost everyone on our political spectrum did. There were so many factors that anytime someone tries to put all the responsibility on one thing alone, it just sounds silly to me.

Cheers

I really think this is a last ditch attempt by a lot of people who see the writing on the wall. In this country, you can't deny a specific group of people equal rights. This is a war the religious and conservative right cannot win. Battles, yes. But the war? No.
